Each one of us in this Parish community is called every day to be the heart and hands of Christ. We do this in many and varied ways – by our prayerful support and our involvement in so many groups and activities that give life to the Parish Community.
The four valiant women whose lives we are celebrating, have been and continue to be the heart and hands and feet of Christ in their specific ministries across the parish.
Christ has no body now on earth but yours;
No hands, no feet on earth but yours.
Yours are the eyes through which Christ’s compassion looks out on this world;
Yours are the feet with which He goes about doing good.
Yours are the hands with which He blesses all the world.
