Each person has a unique way about them – the way they walk, theway they talk or make gestures with their hands, their facial
expressions and so on.
Well, today’s psalm says ‘Lord make me know your ways’. Will we ever know and understand the ways of the Lord? With him everything is the other way around to the ways of the world, the rejected people being first in the ways of the Lord.
Each morning I need to ask the Lord to ‘guide me along the right path ‘to trust in him that my day will go well, that he will send the right
people my way. Remember that we only get the manna for the one day.
How often I go astray in my thoughts, words or actions. I need to forgive myself for this and ask the Lord to ‘make me walk in your truth! How often I stray from the truth’. How often I need to ask forgiveness of others and of myself and isn’t this why I need a Saviour who ’shows the path to those who stray’. All I have to do is to ask in my own unique way.
