Indulge yourself for FT fortnight – Ready Steady Cocoa

Baltinglass Fairtrade group are pleased to have the support of our local catering outlets in supporting Fairtrade  fortnight from 24th Feb to 8th March. The Community Cafe will be serving Fairtrade hot chocolate and Fairtrade Rocky road. Bia blasta, Horan’s and The Perch will have Fairtrade Chocolate bakes on offer. In addition The Perch continues to serve Fairtrade coffee and Fairtrade  tea. So treat yourself and in doing so be happy in the knowledge that you will be helping to provide the farmers and workers with stable incomes. When out shopping how about swapping your tea bags for Clipper Fairtrade tea bags or Clipper Fairtrade organic pure green tea bags which are plastic free, available in All things Natural? Would you swap your coffee capsules for Supervalu  Signature tastes Classic Espresso available in Gillespies Supervalu? For your chocolate treat  how about trying Spar Natural Dark chocolate bar made from organically grown cocoa beans available in Quinn’s Spar ? Don’t forget the 7th March from 11 to 2 p.m. when the Baltinglass Fairtrade  group will be at Mc Allister monument serving samples of Chocolate and Fairtrade  bakes with Fairtrade hot chocolate Tea and Coffee.
