Volunteer with Baltinglass Fairtrade

With Fairtrade Fortnight just around the corner from 24/02 to 8/03, Baltinglass  Fairtrade group are looking to refresh & maintain Fairtrade Town status.  What does it mean to be a  Fairtrade Town? It means that local shops would stock a selection of Fairtrade products, that local catering outlets would offer FT tea and coffee as part of their menus, that our School communities would also look towards making their schools FT schools. To this end Baltinglass Fairtrade group are looking for volunteers  to join us and to help us, not too much time involved, just a willing pair of hands to help out at events and promote Fairtrade  products and by doing so help Baltinglass as a Fairtrade Town and show solidarity to Fairtrade farmers and their families. Interested? Would like to know more? Phone Annette Mangan 087 06 44 241 or Theresa Doyle 087 85 05 718.
